Piggies on the county commission

You’ll laugh, you’ll cry at this short video, “BOCC Bozo’s,” by local artist Dee Hood. It’s her take on our county commissioners’ sellout of our wetlands to developers.

Commissioner Brian Blair, who also serves as the chair of the Environmental Protection Commission (EPC), stars along with the other 3 “Piggies,” Jim Norman, Ken Hagan, & Kevin White. (“What they need’s a damn good whacking!”)

This video is catching fire, and was featured on FOX 13 TV as well as Wayne Garcia’s blog.

I’ve uploaded a photo of Dee, and her husband Chris, bringing their humor and creativity to our recent rally. Yes, the stakes are high, and this is serious business, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a little fun with it.
