Petitions needed NOW to get Pat Kemp on ballot for state house
Pat Kemp only needs 174 petitions to qualify to run for state house, but she needs them right NOW — by Tuesday, December 22!
If you’re a voter living in Florida House district 58, please print out this petition, and make a few copies for your friends & family to sign.
Then call Pat at 508-0965 to let her know where her volunteers can pick up your petitions, or drop them off at her house in Seminole Heights (5118 Seminole Avenue, near I-275 & Hillsborough). We must have the petitions at Pat’s house by 3:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Please forward this message to your friends in district 58 — and anyone you know who may have friends in district 58.
District 58 takes in parts of West Tampa, Town n Country and Seminole Heights, as well as parts of Oak Grove, Egypt Lake, Wellswood and the Floriland Mall area. See map.
I know Pat well, and I would love to get her speaking up for us in Tallahassee (I wish we could get more like her up there!) She has stepped up to run in a special election for the seat very recently vacated by Michael Scionti. On Dec. 11 the Governor called for a special election to be held January 26.
Please see more info in Pat Kemp’s campaign announcement.
“Kemp, an attorney and longtime community activist, has worked as an aide to State Rep. Sara Romeo and Congresswoman Kathy Castor. She founded the Old Seminole Heights Neighborhood Association. Her tenure as head of the Hillsborough Democrats has been marked by a new energy and cohesiveness in the organization and a growth in local Democratic clubs.
“Of the three people who have filed to run for the post so far, only Kemp lives in the Democratic-leaning district.”
